Ensuring that we meet and exceed environmental legislation and practice is second nature to our company. All the recycling that takes place in China happens on the latest technologically advanced paper making machines of our strategic partner paper mills and all our facilities have been accredited with ISO 9002 and ISO 14001 Certificates.

Mark Lyndon Paper is accredited by the Environment Agency as an official exporter and the Chinese Mills who recycle this material have satisfied the Environment Agency rigorous environmental standards, these standards are checked each year by the Environment Agency to maintain accreditation.

Current legislation places a legal responsibility on waste producers to ensure the final destination of any waste is clearly identified and treated in accordance with current UK standards. By supplying Mark Lyndon Paper with your scrap corrugated you can be sure you know exactly where your material is going and that it will be treated to the highest environmental standards, we only sell directly to the above mills, and as such can ensure traceability of all material supplied, visits are welcomed anytime.

The majority of our competitors sell to various countries and also sell through various agents, traceability becomes difficult in this situation but the onus is on you as the supplier of scrap corrugated. Supplying direct through Mark Lyndon Paper satisfy this responsibility and provide security and visibility of the route direct through to the final recovery facility in China in China.

Traceability

Much of the corrugated available for recovery is originally manufactured in China and is exported to Europe and the UK as protection for various products. By returning the packing to China as scrap cardboard our suppliers can be sure that they are helping to close the loop on card recycling.

Many importers of products manufactured in China insist on utilising the empty containers with exported scrap corrugated as their way of closing the loop to offset the emissions generated on imports.
